Alameda Legacy Home Tour 2014

Sunday, September 28, 2014 - 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

A Self-Guided Tour of  Seven Homes, 6 Victorian-era and a carpenter's dream home on the West End.
Plus enjoy light refreshments, vendor displays, and gift shop in the Meyers House Garden.

Please note the Meyers House Museum is NOT open for the home tour.  It is open on 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

Spend a day on our beautiful bayside island, strolling through neighborhoods rich in architectural heritage ( view previous tours). The tour is self-guided - pick up your Legacy Guidebook and visit the homes at your own pace, in any order you choose. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy at a park, in the Meyers House Garden, the beach, or visit one of our many fine local restaurants.

Go green, walk or bike the tour! Alameda is hill-free, and enjoys light traffic at a leisurely pace on Sundays.

9/28/14 update: Captains are in charge of our wonderful docents today.  Captains will call the coordinator with any problems.  Email will only periodically be checked on tour day as staff are selling tickets at FRANKLIN PARK and Alameda Museum.

We welcome comments from our tour guests.  Send them to us via mail, c/o Alameda Museum, 2324 Alameda Ave. or email us at

Proceeds will benefit the Alameda Museum and the Alameda Architectural Preservation Society (AAPS), non-profit organizations dedicated to preserving our small town ambiance and cherished older buildings.  About us...
